Be a Friend... a Community Friend!

Remember what it’s like to begin an exciting adventure while tinged with mild homesickness?
Our new international students do, and living away from family makes it challenging, too!
Why not become a Community Friend? Community Friends reach out to their students once or twice a month for one academic calendar year or less. We offer it to AES students and first year international undergraduates.
This wonderful program can count as student community service for kids and teens and is much more low-key than homestay programs.
Interested? Fill out the volunteer form here and we will get in touch with you. We will begin matching students for fall term soon.
