New L&C Strength & Conditioning Camps for High School-Aged Kids
Open gallery
L&C employees with kids in grades 8th-12th may be interested in registering for Pioneer Power Strength Camps.
These adolescent strength and conditioning camps are designed to enhance athletic performance, reduce the risk of common athletic injuries, and teach proper movement mechanics. Each session will focus on the following areas of performance:
- Strength via basic and advanced resistance training movements
- Speed via running, cutting, and agility techniques
- Explosiveness via jump training and plyometrics
Our camps are designed for the young active individuals (sport athlete or not). Sessions are progressive in nature, so each week will build upon the previous, leading to ultimate performance development. We recommend that participants do multi-week camps, as they truly experience tangible changes in their strength, speed, health and confidence.
Register now for fall semester camps to be held at the Pamplin Sports Center weight room:
September 10 – October 25: Tuesday & Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
October 29 – December 19: Tuesday & Thursday, 6 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
