Andrea Dooley Named Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Operations

President Wim Wiewel has announced that Andrea Dooley will serve as Lewis & Clark’s chief financial officer and vice president for operations, beginning December 1. She has served as interim vice president for business and finance/treasurer since August.

“I’m pleased to announce the promotion of Andrea to this vital role,” said Wiewel. “She has stepped forward during these past four months to address the budget in what are exciting but, no doubt, challenging times. Her expertise, management skills, and enthusiasm for the task at hand are exactly what we need.”

Dooley joined Lewis & Clark in April 2016 as the associate vice president and controller. Previously she was a senior audit manager at KPMG from 2003 to 2010, and she worked at Portland-based Tripwire in various roles, including corporate controller from 2010 to 2016. She is a graduate of the University of Portland.

“In this leadership role, I look forward to partnering with the three schools to understand how we can best address their needs,” said Dooley. “One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is finding ways to provide the information and means for the community to meet strategic goals.”

In this new role, Dooley will oversee Business and Finance, Facilities Services, Financial Planning and Analysis, Information Technology, and Sustainability. Campus Safety will continue to report to Robin Holmes-Sullivan, and Human Resources will continue to report to Dave Reese.
