Alumnus Robert Doeckel Returns to Teach Lawyering
Robert Doeckel ’14, former litigation associate at Garvey Schubert Barer, joined Lewis & Clark Law School faculty as a visiting assistant professor of lawyering.
He previously clerked for the Honorable Marco A. Hernandez of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon, where Doeckel worked on a range of civil and criminal matters involving employment law, civil rights, environmental law, and intellectual property. He also worked for the Special Litigation Unit of the Oregon Department of Justice, where he focused on constitutional claims, complex class-action lawsuits, elections litigation, and other high-profile or sensitive cases.
Doeckel, who received his JD magna cum laude, earned a BA in political science and history from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2007.
