Resources for Inclement Weather
January 09, 2020
With the snow forecast upon us, this serves as a reminder about our snow closure policy. Getting your information directly from Lewis & Clark will ensure that you know whether or not the college is open.
For all day inclement weather closures and late openings, the College will strive to make the decision and announcement by 5 a.m. For early closures, the College will strive to make the decision and announcement by 2 p.m. Sometimes, however, emerging weather conditions make early notification impossible, or require closure or cancellation of some activities during the day.
If we experience inclement weather, you should check the following sources:
- Lewis & Clark Newsroom
- Lewis & Clark Snow Line: 503-768-SNOW (7669)
If you would prefer to receive a text message about delays and/or closures please take a moment to configure your own emergency notifications settings.
While the Office of Public Affairs and Communications makes every attempt to reach local radio and television stations, we cannot guarantee that media outlets will post our closure or delayed opening announcements.
- View current weather conditions via Lewis & Clark’s real-time virtual weather station.
