Powers reviewed the book, Transnational Environmental Regulation and Governance: Purpose, Strategies, and Principles by Veerle Heyvaert. According to Powers, Heyvaert’s book provides a useful and nuanced description of transnational law. “Heyvaert [also] developed an enlightening structure for understanding environmental regulation,” stated Powers. Shelton reviewed Climate Justice and Historical Emissions, edited by Lukas H. Meyer and Pranay Sanklecha. Climate Justice discusses the question of who can and who should be held responsible for historic emissions. Shelton’s review provides a chapter-by-chapter break down of the book.
