Professor Lisa Benjamin will serve as a moderator for the ABA panel “Flattening the Curve” – COVID-19 and Climate Change on June 30, 2020.

COVID-19 and Climate Change is a free webinar in which speakers describe the lessons COVID-19 has taught us about the need for an effective global response, and identify a variety of legal actions governments and the private sector must take to “flatten the curve” and keep the worst effects of climate change at bay. Panelists include Sara C. Bronin from the University of Connecticut School of Law, Michael Gerrard from the Columbia Law School, Tracey M. Roberts from Cumberland School of Law, and Adam Zipkin who is legislative counsel for U.S. Senator Cory Booker.

The webinar will be held on June 30, 2020 at 3:00p.m. EDT and is part of a series the ABA Section of Civil Rights and Social Justice has developed exploring how the COIV-19 pandemic highlights critical legal issues of criminal justice, civil rights, human rights, and economic concerns.
