“Clustering engagement activities under one leader and developing a clear mission and direction as to how we will re-imagine the student experience at L&C is a core goal of the Division of Student Life,” Vice President for Student Life Robin Holmes-Sullivan said. “I was so impressed with Rocky’s leadership of the Campus Engagement Initiative we launched last year that helped us to assess just what students want in regards to Templeton and new student housing. It was natural to think of him as we envisioned creating a new division of Campus Engagement.”

During his time at L&C he was on staff at the PioLog, KLC, and Polyglot. A Phi Beta Kappa member and Student Academic Affairs Board grant recipient, Rocky also led the German Club and co-chaired the Student Athletics Advisory Committee. As he steps into the new role, Rocky will continue to lead the Career Center, focusing on higher level integrations of the Career Center’s work across campus, while his colleagues focus on the continued growth of the office’s programs and services.

“It’s been a privilege to work with such amazing colleagues in the Career Center,” Rocky said. “Their professional dedication is only surpassed by their dedication to our students.”

In his new role, Rocky is excited for the opportunities ahead. “We offer an incredible amount of opportunities for students at Lewis & Clark. I’m looking forward to increasing engagement with these co-curricular learning experiences through the use of high impact practices and student-centered design while aligning them with our community’s core interests and learning outcomes,” Rocky said.
