Content warning: mentions of murder and transphobiaHello everyone, this Friday on 11/20 the annual Trans Day of Remembrance and Trans Day of Resilience is taking place to commemorate those we have lost in the last year due to transphobic violence and to celebrate the achievements and future of our community. For the last month, QSU and the Office of Inclusion & Multicultural Engagement (IME) have been working together to create two booklets about this important day- the first one is specifically for trans people to process our grief and create the future of our community and the second one for cis people to learn about this day and how to become effective allies in the fight for trans justice. Both feature writing, art and videos made by the trans community and take an intersectional approach that highlights the importance of taking action. You can find the booklets on the IME website and Instagram (@ime_lc). Please share these booklets with your friends, family, and communities.Additionally, if you would like any support with processing this or just want to talk, the initiators of this project, Luca (he/they) who is a trans QSU organizer and peer educator for IME and Liv (they/them) who is an IME program coordinator, can be reached at lucasax@lclark.edu and livparks@lclark.edu.In community, the QSU
