After 20 plus years, Information Security Officer Jessica Odom decided to venture on and move into the private sector. Her last day of working remotely was Friday, January 15.

“I wish her well and am excited for her new adventures, however we will miss her expertise greatly,” Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer Adam Buchwald said. “For those who interact with Jessica or have something that normally would go to her, please feel free to direct questions towards myself at buchwald@lclark.edu. For now, we will farm out various tasks and responsibilities within IT and hopefully people can work with us patiently during the interim period.”

Over the years, Odom has served as a resource for the security community and developed tools to secure devices for Lewis & Clark faculty and staff. She led industry expert panels on mobile device security at several Secure World Portland conferences and created several helpful resources for our community such as these nine tips to keep your mobile device secure.
