Thank you to everyone who participated in LC Day of Giving!
Gifts made by alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of LC raised more than $265,000 in support of all three campuses. Our anonymous donors were so inspired by the outpouring of love and support shown for LC in this difficult time. Even though we didn’t reach our goal, they’re donating their $200,000 in honor of those efforts. In total, that’s over $465,000 in support of all that we love about LC. Gifts made by alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends of LC raised more than $265,000 in support of all three campuses.
Our anonymous donors were so inspired by the outpouring of love and support shown for LC in this difficult time. Even though we didn’t reach our goal, they’re donating their $200,000 in honor of those efforts. In total, that’s over $465,000 in support of all that we love about LC.
Results for our on-campus special challenges are:
Wim Wiewel, President, is matching gifts made by faculty and staff, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000. Success! $10,000 goal reached.
Scott Fletcher, Dean of the Graduate School of Education and Counseling, pledged to match gifts from Graduate School faculty and staff up to $2,000. If at least 50 percent of GSEC faculty and staff participate in this year’s Day of Giving, Dean Fletcher will contribute an additional $500. Close! $1,175 and 21% participation.
Bruce Suttmeier, College of Arts and Sciences Dean will match every gift up to $1,867 to the Annual Fund made by tenure and tenure track faculty and staff in departments reporting to the Dean of the College. He also has a special prize package in store for three randomly selected people! Success! $1,867 goal reached. Three winners will be contacted.
Jennifer Johnson, Law School Dean will match all donations up to $1,000 during the lunch hour of Day of Giving. Success! $1,000 match fulfilled in under 30 minutes!
