Michael Mannheimer Leaving L&C for New Storytelling Adventures

After seven and a half years at Lewis & Clark, Web Content and Social Media Manager Michael Mannheimer’s last day working in Public Affairs and Communications (PubCom) will be Friday, May 14. He is headed to a new job as the social media director at Amico PR, here in Portland.

Michael is the best kind of colleague: respectful, smart, creative, and calm. He is especially gifted at collaborating with students and getting their voices and stories to shine on our website and in our social media. Michael brings more than work-talent to the office; he is always ready to share a delicious home-baked treat, give a great music recommendation, match anyone’s pace on a lunchtime run through Tryon, and lavish effusive praise on your pet or child.

“When I interviewed for the job at Lewis & Clark, I was immediately struck by the deep love everyone had for this community,” Mannheimer said. “Lewis & Clark has really felt like home. I will miss working with students and admins, faculty and alumni, and especially my dedicated, hilarious, and passionate colleagues in PubCom. I am truly going to miss this place!”
