Traffic Alert: Repairs at Gate 5 to Begin June 28
Construction has begun at campus entrance Gate 5 to repair a failed water meter.
This week, Portland Water alerted Facilities Services of a failed water meter adjacent to Gate 5. Construction to repair the meter will begin Monday, June 28, with completion by the end of that same week. The sidewalk will take a few weeks before it is completely replaced, but will be reopened in a usable condition.
The work will be in the public right of way, and will include sidewalk closures and flaggers on Palatine Hill Rd. Gate 5 will remain open, but visitors are asked to please use other college entrance gates if possible.
Trimet will continue to use Gate 5.
No water service will be interrupted, as we have large meters servicing the college.
