Stacey Kim to Lead PubCom in the Interim

With the early August departure of Joe Becker from the helm of the Office of Public Affairs and Communications, Vice President David Reese has named Joe’s deputy Stacey Kim BA ’94 as interim leader of the office.

With the early August departure of Joe Becker from the helm of the Office of Public Affairs and Communications, Vice President David Reese has named Becker’s deputy Stacey Kim BA ’94 interim leader of the office. Kim will serve as the interim associate vice president for marketing and communications. Lewis & Clark hopes to complete its national search in time to have the new hire begin this calendar year.

“It gives me real peace of mind and confidence to know that PubCom will be in very capable hands during this interim period,” said Becker. “Stacey is an experienced professional with deep knowledge of and care for the Lewis & Clark, and I appreciate her for stepping in and stepping up to the task.”

PubCom is an award-winning team of marketing, public relations, design, media, and communications professionals who love to share the news and stories that make Lewis & Clark great. The office is part of Common Services, working closely with offices, departments, and colleagues across the College of Arts and Sciences, the Graduate School of Education and Counseling, and the School of Law.
