L&C Field Day 2021 Recap and Photo Slideshow

On August 19, 2021, the ONE L&C engagement committee and community volunteers rallied with the Health and Wellness crew to host a back-to-school Field Day. We gathered to reconnect with colleagues from all parts of campus, play some games, and kick off the new academic year.

The President’s Office provided a food cart lunch from Boke Bowl (LC alumni-owned), Poblano Pepper, and Nectar Cafe!

“This was so much fun,” Program Director and Special Assistant to VP of Operations Billy Walker said. “It was great seeing everyone and the games were fantastic. I tried briefly at cornhole and I am not as good as I imagined myself. The food vendors were exceptional. Thank you guys and I appreciate and love everything you’re doing.”

Leadership and employees, including summer student employees, from the entire Lewis & Clark community gathered following COVID-19 safety protocols. Many of us hadn’t seen each other in person for more than a year and many of us had met during quarantine over Zoom but had never met in person. It was a true joy to see friendly faces and share some fun.

“Thank you for the wonderful time,” Facilities Services Lead Painter Richard Austin said. “The food was awesome and the paint crew and student workers had a great time.”
