2021 Faculty Technology Showcase - A Call for Presenters!

The Faculty Technology Showcase returns as an in-person event, scheduled for December 9th, 2021, and we’re looking for presenters.

As always, we’re looking for instructors willing to share their experiences incorporating technology in their research and teaching. We’re also looking to hear about new approaches brought on by our year of remote and hybrid teaching. Topics to consider may include, but are not confined to:

  • Using Zoom or Google Meet to bring in outside speakers
  • New approaches to organizing your materials online
  • Re-creating Zoom activities in class (student screensharing, chat channel, etc.
  • Posting accessible assignments and materials online using Moodle, Google Classroom or course website
  • Using video tutorials and screencasts to ‘flip’’ the classroom
  • Remote office hours
  • Student use of online collaboration tools for group projects, collaborative note-taking, presentations, and other activities

If you can’t make the in-person event, we’ll also be conducting 5-10 minute interviews with presenters in advance of the event to be posted online to the Showcase website.

Share your experience and inspire your colleagues. We’re looking to finalize our roster of presenters by November 12th, so whether you’re looking to get involved or just have questions, reach out to EdTech at edtech@lclark.edu.
