Free Antigen Tests for Students

Dear Residential Student,

As part of our ongoing multi-layer efforts to fight against COVID-19 and to keep our community safe, we would like to share some recent information we have obtained about ordering free, in-home antigen tests from the government. Because your residence hall address is considered a commercial address as opposed to a residential address, College students have not been able to benefit from the government’s program of free tests. However, now there is a way for you to indeed have access to these tests—and we ask that you take advantage of this right away. Please see the attached flier for details on how you can call and request a test even though your address is in a residential hall. Alternatively, if you live off-campus, with or without roommates, you can also request a test. We have a very limited supply of antigen tests here on campus, and are not sure how long the supply chain will last for further obtaining of tests. You can help tremendously by requesting your own tests so that we have a more ample supply within our community. Thank you for all that you do to keep our community safe, and please call and request your test as soon as possible!

Best,
