In-Person Classes and Work *This Monday, February 7!*

Dear Lewis & Clark Community,

Thanks to your flexibility, patience, and commitment to the health and safety of our community, we are at last ready to return to in-person work and learning on all three of our campuses this Monday, February 7.

As you return to classes or to work on campus, please don’t forget to have your KN-95 (or better) masks ready to go. The requirement to use KN-95 (or better) masks remains in place until further notice.

In addition:

  • Students: You must test negative for COVID before you can return to in-person classes, and you need to obtain and document your booster dose as soon as you are eligible. There is a slim chance that we will not have all results from this Thursday’s testing clinic by 8 a.m. on Monday morning. If you tested on-campus this week, you should NOT attend in-person classes until you have received your test results via email.

  • Employees: We expect most of you to return to your pre-winter break schedule this coming Monday, if you have not already done so. If you are not sure what that means for you, please talk with your supervisor. You should COVID test as close as possible to your scheduled return-to-campus date, if you have not already done so, either at an on-campus clinic or at home. You also need to obtain and document your booster dose as soon as you are eligible. The deadline to upload your booster dose information to Workday is February 7, or two weeks after you become eligible, whichever date is later.

For those of you returning to the CAS campus, things look a little different. The Templeton renovation is in full swing, so some entrances and offices might be in different places than you expect. The lower Templeton parking lot is closed for the duration of the renovation, but additional parking is available at St. Mark’s Church and in the graduate school overflow lot. In addition, TriMet and Pio shuttle stops will have new locations starting February 14, 2022. Construction can be disruptive, but the changes to Templeton are definitely something to be excited about. Stay up-to-date on the project’s progress on our website and social media channels.

We can’t wait to see you on campus next week. Meanwhile, have a wonderful weekend!

Sincerely,
Executive Council
