Juliette Reséndez, Graduate Admissions Counselor, Receives Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellowship

The fellowship supports Reséndez in attending the Association of Graduate Enrollment Management (NAGAP) Pre-Summit Institute’s Inclusive Marketing & Recruitment session and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Certificate program.

Juliette Reséndez, Graduate Admissions Counselor Juliette Reséndez, Graduate Admissions CounselorGraduate Enrollment Management (GEM) professionals are uniquely positioned to offer DEI leadership by influencing aspects of access, information, communication, strategic planning, budgeting, and staffing decisions. The Association of Graduate Enrollment Management’s (NAGAP) hands-on Inclusive Marketing & Recruitment session will help participants recognize and harness their various sources of power and influence to make progress toward DEI goals.

“I was determined to apply for the fellowship because I believe the Pre-Summit Institute will provide me with foundational knowledge, strategies, and best practices on DEI engagement and recruitment,” said Reséndez. “I am very grateful to be awarded this fellowship as the Pre-Summit Institute aligns perfectly with my goals and motivation for pursuing professional development.”

The NAGAP DEI Certificate Program includes four webinars with post-tests and an asynchronous video series on implicit bias to be completed in Summer 2022. Upon completion participants will receive a Credly badge verifying their achievement.
