The brand new Mexican edition of Professor Magali Rabasa’s book has been published by Bajo Tierra Ediciones. El Libro en Movimiento: La política autónoma y la ciudad letrada subterránea was translated by Ezequiel Gatto.
The English version of The Book in Movement was originally published in 2019 by University of Pittsburg Press. In brief, it is an exploration of the reinvention of the print book. Looking into the political and literary underground of cities in Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, and Chile, Dr. Rabasa explores how autonomous politics are enacted in the production and circulation of books.
