RSVP Now: LC Community Transportation Deliberative Event

Our goal is to gather Lewis & Clark community members to engage in quality deliberation over this issue with the goal of creating recommendations to present to Lewis & Clark’s Associated Student Body (ASB) and the Transportation Department.

Staff from Healthy Democracy–a nonpartisan nonprofit who designs and coordinates innovative lottery-selected deliberative panels–are aiding students with process design and moderation and will be in attendance at the event.

As a result of the secluded location of Lewis & Clark, transportation to and from campus is a major point of frustration for students, faculty, and staff alike. While the campus already makes efforts to improve the transportation experience, including the Pioneer Express shuttle, a surplus of bicycle parking, and an increasing number of car parking spots, members of the college community still struggle to efficiently travel to and from campus.

We need to hear from you!

Decision-makers need to hear from all voices in order to make decisions that work for all of us. This is your opportunity to be a part of this collaborative effort toward improving campus transportation.

There will be pizza along with a chance to win a gift card. RSVP now!
