Professors Receive Prestigious Award for Outstanding Journal Article
Education in Leadership professor Mollie Galloway, along with her colleague and co-author Ann Ishimaru, have been named the 2022 William J. Davis Award recipients for their article “Hearts and Minds First: Institutional Logics in Pursuit of Educational Equity.”
Education in Leadership professor Mollie Galloway, along with her colleague and co-author Ann Ishimaru, have been named the 2022 William J. Davis Award recipients for their article “Hearts and Minds First: Institutional Logics in Pursuit of Educational Equity.”
The Davis Award was established by University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) in 1979, and is given annually to the author(s) of the most outstanding article published in Educational Administration Quarterly (EAQ) during the preceding volume year.
Gerardo Lopez, editor of EAQ, congratulated Galloway and Ishimaru in an email announcing their win.

Mollie Galloway is an associate professor and chair of the department of educational leadership at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. Her current work includes collaborative efforts with local schools and educational organizations to address issues of equity in P-12 schools.
