Hello, Students!
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a national campaign aimed at raising awareness about sexual assault and preventing sexual violence. From believing survivors to advocating for policy changes, we all have a role in ending sexual violence in our communities, both here at Lewis & Clark and in our hometowns. Here’s how you can get involved this April on campus:

Paper Chain Project in Watzek Library: Share your anonymous responses to prompts about supporting survivors and creating a safer community.

Teal Tuesdays: Wear teal every Tuesday to show support for survivors. Visit Health Promotion & Wellness tables (4/9 at JR Howard and 4/15 & 4/24 at Watzek Library) for activities on consent culture, empowering bystanders, and knowing your rights.

Denim Day: Join us wearing denim on the last Wednesday of April to stand in solidarity with survivors. Stop by the Health Promotion and Wellness table in Watzek for more information on creating a consent-centered campus.
Remember, campus resources are available if you or someone you know experiences an unwanted situation. Title IX provides supportive measures and information on the formal complaint process. Confidential Advocates, Counseling Services, and Spiritual Life offer confidential support for those who don’t want to engage with Title IX.
