Director of Health Promotion and Wellness Michelle Callahan Honored with New Professionals Affiliate Award

The Pacific Coast College Health Association and the American College Health Association (ACHA) have awarded Michelle Callahan, director of Health Promotion and Wellness, with the 2024 ACHA New Professionals Award.

“Michelle Callahan’s nomination and letters of support made it very clear that she has contributed greatly to the overall health and wellness of students at your institution,” American College Health Association CEO James Wilkinson said. “Through her commitment to college health, she set a wonderful example for college health professionals around the globe.”

Michelle Callahan will be honored at the Awards and Fellows Ceremony during the ACHA 2024 Annual Meeting in Atlanta on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

The American College Health Association (ACHA), founded in 1920, serves as a principal advocate and leadership organization for advancing the health and wellness of college students and campus communities through advocacy, education, and research. The association represents a multidisciplinary membership that provides and supports the delivery of health, mental health, prevention, and wellness services for 19 million college students.
