Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the lobby and front desk area, provide the highest quality customer service to guests and residents, and help build a sense of community. Greet, direct and provide information to guests and residents. Ensure that all security policies are followed, including the distribution of ID badges and management of the sign in/out log. Answer telephones, operate facility paging system and manage resident list and incoming calls to residents. Become acquainted with staff members and residents in order to properly route calls and mail. Receive, sort and distribute mail. Assist the Executive Director and Department Directors in administrative matters.  

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, additional education or secretarial training preferred. 1+ years’ experience in a clerical position, preferably in a healthcare office setting. Ability to use general office equipment and computer systems required. Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.

Hours/Shifts: Weekend

Pay: Negotiable
