Romayne Levee

Romayne Levee, a career marketing and advertising professional, is the Director of Education Strategy for Mission Minded, a branding firm working exclusively with nonprofits and schools.  Before joining Mission Minded, she was the president of Doing Good Marketing in Manhattan Beach, California, a branding and marketing firm specializing in independent schools. She previously was vice president of marketing and communications with AIS Management LLC. In 1996 she founded Nice Move, an executive search consultancy specializing in the fields of marketing and advertising. She previously held positions at TBWA Chiat/Day where she managed the marketing of the “Energizer Bunny” and BBDO Advertising where she directed the launch of Apple’s first laptop computer. Romayne counts her role as founding Board Chair of Vistamar School, an independent high school in Los Angeles, to be among her greatest accomplishments in the nonprofit sector.

Ms. Levee graduated from UCLA, receiving a BA in political science in 1986. A native northern Californian, she lived abroad on a sailboat as a youth visiting twelve countries in six years. When not sailing, she attended British Embassy Schools, ultimately graduating from the University School, an independent K-12 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ms. Levee served on the board of directors for AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) before becoming founding chair of Vistamar School’s board of trustees in 2002 where she served until 2013. She has also been a member of Lewis & Clark’s Parent’s Council since 2014. Romayne has a black-belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys beach volleyball, playing guitar, writing, and traveling. She is married to Tom Levee, vice president of sales for KABC-TV in Los Angeles. Romayne and Tom are the parents of Grace ’16 and Johanna ’19.
