Craig MacLeod

Craig MacLeod was raised in the Chicago area.  He spent thirty years in San Francisco and Marin County, California, with short stays in New Canaan, Connecticut and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Mr. MacLeod now resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with his wife Carrie. He has two children, Christopher ’11 and Sarah (Pomona ’07), and two stepchildren, Sarah (Colorado College ’08) and Harry (Minnesota Life College ’15). 

Mr. MacLeod also serves as lead trustee for a multi-generational family trust, and as a board member and Treasurer of a nonprofit that runs three farmers markets in Minneapolis. 

He has 33 years experience in investment operations, investment systems and financial analysis. Mr. MacLeod is the former COO and a founding partner of a small registered investment advisor in the San Francisco area. Prior to this, he was with White Mountains Insurance Company, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company and Mobil Oil Company.

Mr. MacLeod holds a BA from Pomona College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He enjoys skiing, biking, gardening, reading, and traveling to be with family and friends.
