Laura Herberg

Laura Herberg BA ’06 began a public radio career in 2010 after working in coffee shops in Scotland and Ireland; a circus tent in Seattle; and as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer in West Virginia. Now a staff reporter at WDET in Detroit, Michigan, she covers topics ranging from transportation and housing to regional curiosities. She is working toward a master’s degree in urban planning at Wayne State University and is a proud homeowner in Highland Park, Michigan.
