Trip Type
Day TripPhysical Demands
No experience necessary! The day starts with a surf lesson, so this trip is perfect for all experience levels.
Surfing is physically demanding, and participants need to be good swimmers since you will not be wearing a Personal Floatation Device (aka lifejacket). Surfing requires full body mobility, aerobic endurance for >20 minute intervals, and core strength. Ocean temperatures average 56F (13C), so you will be provided with a warm wetsuit to wear. Although surfing is physically demanding, you will have the opportunity to go at your own pace and rest on the beach as much as desired.
