Edible Plants & Ethnobotany Coast Weekend
- Showing off a mushroom
Visit the lush ancient forests and striking coastal landscape of the central Oregon coast. You’ll Learn to identify, as well as taste, some of the edible plants that live in this ecosystem and learn about Native American uses of local plants and trees. Not only that, you’ll also learn about some of the poisonous plants you would want to avoid if you’re “wild foraging”! We’ll leave campus Friday evening, stay at cozy yurts (with power & bathrooms), and be back in time for dinner on Sunday.
