Jocelyn Stokes BA ʼ07 is a conservation biologist, photographer, and filmmaker. The subject of her recent efforts is the endangered sun bear, a relatively little-known species of small bear that makes its home in the forests of southeast Asia. To raise awareness of the dwindling numbers of sun bears, Stokes spent a year in the rain forests of Borneo filming and producing a documentary. More about the film and movement can be found at sunbearsurvival.org.
