Xplore: STEM Program

This FREE program is a special opportunity for students from historically under-represented groups* who are interested in science, math, and health sciences.

You’ll explore campus, Portland, and beyond, including a weekend getaway to a beautiful forest lodge with opportunities for hiking, swimming, and visiting the third-longest lava tube in North America. You’ll make new friends, meet current students and faculty, learn about research opportunities, get insider tips for academic success, and learn about key resources and offices. Take advantage of this chance to connect with others interested in STEM fields, and have fun getting to know your new home.

*Historically underrepresented groups in STEM include first-generation college students, BIPOC students, and women in the physical sciences. Not sure if this is you? Apply and we’ll be in touch!

This program has a separate application and registration process for those who qualify. Learn all about it and apply:
