What three words would you use to describe L&C?

Vibrant, Diverse, Beautiful

What was your favorite class? How did it expand your knowledge?

Computer Science with Jeffery Ely. It has revolutionized my way of thinking through real-world problems. It has taught me to think like a programmer, where writing code is like mathematical creative art.

Who is your mentor on campus? Why do you consider this person your mentor?

Heather Miner. She has been much more than an academic advisor. I feel like I can turn to her for any kind of issue I face on campus.

What made you want to come to Lewis & Clark?

I wanted a liberal arts education on a small, beautiful campus and L&C provided that. Portland is pretty cool and warmer than the East Coast!

How do you describe the liberal arts?

Building an intellectual foundation in many disciplines, and a well-rounded perspective for life.

If you have studied or will study overseas while at Lewis & Clark, how did you choose your program?

I will be studying in South Korea during Spring, 2021. I picked this program because I’m intrigued by Korean culture and want to visit a new part of the world that I wouldn’t have a chance to visit otherwise.
