Tim Gillespie MA ’04 authors this collection of poems, which he describes as “adding sense, wonder, and music to life.” The writing within includes pieces inspired by places that he has lived; clever comparisons between the individuals and events described in myth and legend and our modern-day existence; and even a poetical rendition of a spur-of-the-moment decision to buy a hat. At their core, says Gillespie, “these poems have all been sparked in one way or another by the flint and steel of old stories.”
