Jouni Korhonen ’82

Jouni Korhonen is a risk management consultant/founder of Enterprise Risk Advisors, and formerly the Chief Enterprise Risk Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, a Government Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) and a major liquidity provider to financial institutions.

His financial services career spans over three decades, including roles as the regional senior risk officer for Qatar National Bank’s international network, and prior to joining QNB, serving as Senior Vice President and Division Manager at MUFG Union Bank in San Francisco, where he was responsible for the portfolio management of the bank’s credit portfolio.

His prior career includes a number of senior risk management and business leadership roles at Wells Fargo Bank and Bank of America, in the United States and in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Division, including heading BofA’s Middle East & North Africa region, and serving as a Managing Director for credit products for the technology industry sector.

Mr. Korhonen received a Bachelor of Arts degree, as a double major in international affairs and business administration from Lewis & Clark in 1982. He went on to earn a master’s degree from Harvard University.

Mr. Korhonen and his wife, Amal Mansour (’83) live in Portland.
