Joshua Mark Levy JD ’06

Joshua M. Levy JD ’06 passed away March 11, 2021, following a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer.

Josh was a partner at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt, which he joined in 2011 to practice environmental law before transitioning to construction law. Josh ultimately rose to serve as cochair of the firm’s construction law practice, contributing significantly to its growth in size, scope, and stature, all while impressing clients and colleagues with his expertise, good judgment, and warm, generous spirit. Josh shared his knowledge by regularly speaking and writing on construction law topics, and was coauthor of a regular column in the New York Law Journal.

Josh is survived by his wife, Marcy; and children Sienna, Alden, and Taegan.
