Nick Richards JD ’98 is chair of the cannabis law practice group at Greenspoon Marder. Richards has been working at the firm as a partner since January 2020 and is a former Internal Revenue Service trial attorney. He provides legal representation to individuals and businesses in tax audits and trials, managing tax debt, and mergers and acquisitions. Richards also advises clients in the cannabis industries on matters related to tax and regulatory compliance. He serves as board member of the Bhang Corporation, a leading cannabis products company, and is also a member of the National Cannabis Industry Association.
