Jane Helms Purcell

Jane Helms Purcell BA ’60, February 6, 2021, age 88. Purcell worked as a middle school teacher in Lake Oswego, Oregon, before moving to Louisville, Kentucky. She loved reading, particularly William Faulkner. She and her family traveled often, for fun as well as to volunteer with USAID’s International Executive Service Corps. Survivors include husband Cameron; daughter Julia; one grandchild; and many other family members and friends.
