Richard Updegraff BS ’53, May 5, 2021, age 96. After graduating from Lewis & Clark, Updegraff attended the University of Colorado, where he earned a master’s degree in education. From there, he embarked on a career as a teacher and administrator in a number of Portland-area schools. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Anna Marie; his children, Jan and Lynn; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
