Jack Waite BA ’23

Hi, everyone! My name is Jack and I use he/him pronouns. I’m a junior Biochemistry major here at Lewis & Clark. This past summer I was also a coleader for the Xplore Program, which is a new student program for underrepresented students who are interested in studying STEM here. We helped these incoming first years get to know some of their science faculty members, do some hands on lab work and make long lasting friendships. We even got to spend the weekend at a lodge outside Mount Saint Helens, which was super fun. This experience was extremely fulfilling for me, and I’m so happy to see our students
thriving both in and out of the classroom.
