David W. Copeland MEd ’01, August 3, 2021, age 53. Copeland, a specialist in American Sign Language, was a teacher at the Wisconsin School for the Deaf. He retired in 2019. Copeland loved spending time with friends in the great outdoors, where he enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, and biking. Survivors include his wife, Karen Toennies Copeland MEd ’00, and many other loving family members and friends.
