Jeff Sherman

Jeff Sherman BA ’97 recently earned his PhD in politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz. His dissertation, “Fighting in the Future Tense,” details the global politics surrounding the emerging military technology of autonomous weapons and the countervailing logic within the U.S. military driving the development of killer robots. Sherman lives in New York City with his wife, Kate, and teaches at Iona College. He reports that they need to get another dog soon.
