Nikki Bruce, MA, (she/her) is a third-year doctoral student in Pacific University’s Clinical Psychology program. She is looking forward to working with Lewis & Clark’s community through her full-time practicum placement at the college’s counseling center during the 2022-23 academic year. Nikki has worked in Pacific University’s clinic, as well as Sound Health, a community mental health organization. Her approach to therapy is integrative and individualized, to meet the unique needs of each student. She incorporates multiple therapeutic orientations (e.g., Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) to her relational psychodynamic style (process-oriented). Nikki strives to provide culturally sensitive and congruent therapy, and trauma-informed care. She is passionate about working with students of color, adoptees, and those of marginalized identities; as well as those who are working through experiences such as trauma, grief, and identity exploration.
