Arthur Blachly BA ’51, October 6, 2021, age 96. Blachly studied at Union Theological Seminary and became a Methodist minister but later pivoted and joined the Oregon Department of Transportation. He went on to earn a master’s degree in civil engineering and designed bridges. Survivors include his children, Beth, Andy, and Rachel; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
