Inga Spencer

Inga Spencer BA ’73, MAT ’78 writes: “My friend Marie Maita Grant BS ’73, MAT ’79 and I graduated with degrees in education from Lewis & Clark College in June 1973, completing our master’s degrees at L&C as well. We have been lifelong friends, both working in education. At graduation, our names were Ann Inga Matteson (Indiana), and hers was Marie Vidette Maita (California). We ended up in Akin Hall our junior year and later moved to a coed dorm during our senior year. Ten days after we graduated, we were both hired to teach at Rowe Junior High School in Milwaukie, Oregon.”
