As program manager with Spiritual Life, I’m helping with projects that work to support the community toward having reflective space, transformative conversations, and deeper connections. I offer support to student groups and our affiliate partners, overseeing well-balanced and thoughtful programming that encourages a culture of care and curiosity across differences in belief and background. I also oversee our communications, especially as we work on deeper community connections and access (our office is hard to find!). I’m driven these days by energy of transition and the longing to live life among others.
During my time as a student at LC I was involved in Spiritual Life and appreciated the spaces I found there that called me to show up as a wholly imperfect human without the pressures of an academic environment. I bring my academic background and recent experience as a student to this work as I now explore higher ed from a new perspective.
When not on campus, I like to be out exploring the wild world, biking along the river in my very thick jacket, listening to podcasts, practicing tea and yoga, cooking with my partner, throwing pots, watching star trek, basking in the joy of being with my family and friends, escaping to the mountains for the summer, and, in the winter months, sleeping! I also work at a local wine bar where I get to share good food and sell cheese!
