Lori Friedman

Vice President for Communications

Team leadership, strategic communications, reputation enhancement and management
McAfee 120, MSC: 19

Lori is excited to be leading a stand-out team of communicators who skillfully plan and execute public, community and media relations; issues and crisis management; executive communications; web production; social media; and video, digital and print marketing.

She brings more than two decades of experience as a strategic communications and media relations leader. Her most recent role was at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, where her team and colleagues are credited with increasing the institution’s visibility and reputation as a national and international higher education leader.

Prior to her eight years at Lehigh, Friedman was a strategic communications consultant on projects for high-profile, nonprofit clients of top public relations agencies, including Edelman, Rally Advocacy Agency, and Hershey Cause Communication. She also served as a senior strategic communications leader for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, a global HIV/AIDS healthcare and advocacy provider headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.

When Lori is not busy telling the story of Lewis & Clark’s positive impact, she is spending time with her husband and boy/girl twins; watching gripping television shows; exploring oceans and rivers; baking; and, reading, always reading.
