Adrian began to study Spanish at the age of 10 with the dream of one day living in Spain. She studied Spanish and Anthropology at the University of Washington, and proceeded to fulfill that dream by moving to Cádiz, Spain after graduation. There she taught English courses and soaked up the Spanish language and culture. Upon returning to the Portland, she got her MA in Spanish Language and Literature at Portland State University. Adrian has taught Spanish courses at Portland State University for the past two years.
