Tamara Jazbec BA ’97 just moved to Denver after living in Brooklyn, New York, since 1998. Jazbec has been a fierce advocate in the youth leadership development and international education sector for the past 20 years. For the last 11 years, Jazbec has devoted herself to the Kennedy-Lugar YES Program. The YES Program started after 9-11 as a youth public diplomacy initiative of the Department of State to increase understanding between the United States and countries with significant Muslim populations. Jazbec is passionate about food sourcing; she has been a member of the Park Slope Food Co-op since 1998 and is volunteering for a new co-op in Denver opening in 2018. Jazbec spends her free time with family and friends cooking, gardening, yoga-ing, hiking, skiing, reading, protesting, and volunteering. She also enjoys lounging at home with her furry beast, Syd.
