Lewis & Clark has six licenses that may be “checked-out” by staff, faculty and students. These licenses are renewed annually. Licenses are booked for a week-long period. People may request up to two weeks in a row, but we only allow longer consecutive borrowing if a class specifically requires it (ex. a three-week art intensive that is designed to have the user focus on a new project every day).
We recommend that you reserve a Lynda.com license as far in advance as possible to ensure you will have it when you want it. As a general rule, we do not grant lynda.com licenses the day of the request. The earliest they can start their license would be the next day, provided one is available.
To request a Lynda.com license, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and specify the date that you would like it.
You can see a full catalog of courses offered by visiting the Lynda.com web page and clicking the Library button. A small part of each course is available without needing to login so that you can try it out
